Aim

The aim of this role is to grow sales and profit. This will be achieved through hands on leadership, excellent customer service, a trained, motivated professional team, delivering company standards every day with commercial acumen that controls all aspects of the day to day sales business.

Reports to – Managing Director
Basic Salary – Up to £40k OTE dependent on experience
Commission – Yes targeted on company offline sales
Company Bonus – Yes
Line Management – Initially 5 staff
Holidays – 25 days plus bank holidays
Hours – 9.00am -5.30pm Mon-Fri

Telesales/Field Sales Rep

The Retail Factory, based in Bingley, started trading in August 2006 to supply consumables to retailers and offices. Products supplied include till rolls, toners, stationery, EPOS and scanners, office furniture and label/tags. Current clients include Blacks leisure, Chelsea FC, Heron frozen Foods, Mothercare, Man City FC, Man UTD and Herbert Brown Jewellers.

The founding Directors have considerable business backgrounds and specific experience in the sector and market channels. The company has a direct sales force (predominantly telesales) and has just launched a large E-Commerce site with over 20,000 products (see www.theretailfactory.co.uk). The company will be launching a further 3 E-Commerce sites in the next year.The company is hiring more sales staff to support telesales activity and web sales.

Main Responsibilities

To build grow and develop a database by pro active cold calling and appointment making to follow up with a company visit. We are looking for talented individuals who want to succeed and are extremely determined. Also with a view to fast tracking you to a management role in the future you will be bright, energetic and hungry to win business.

Skills Required

Previous industry experience in any of the areas we cover would be advantageous and you will have had some kind of experience selling B2B.
