It features either a non-contact CCD or Laser scan engine, backlit LCD display, numeric keyboard and an IrDA interface. With 1 MB of memory for data collection and over 100 hours use on a single charge, the ScanPal2 is designed for all day, every day use. In addition ScanPal2 features an in-built barcode verifier and the option to upload a look up file so that it can be used for price-checking on the shop floor without referring to the main database.Each unit is supplied with an easy-to-use Windows based application generator, allowing you to easily produce a program tailored to your exact requirements. Also supplied (depending on version) is a rechargeable battery pack, interface cable and charging/communication cradle. Options include both "C" and "BASIC" software development kits, protective case and IrDA interface kit. Complete with Power Supply, Download Cable, Battery Pack, Download Cradle/Charger & Application Generator
